Who needs words when you can use pictures?

My Summer:

To start off summer (before school got out), I took a weekend trip to Park City with Sage and her family! We stayed in the cutest little condo on the side of main street. Hayden and Camryn also came up for a day, and we all had a blast! We spent our time shopping, meeting new people, and just hanging out. Here is a picture of Sage and I eating ice cream on Main St.

I really don't have a life anymore, so I spend my days watching The Office.  I had never seen it before, so I decided to start from season one, and am currently on season five. I am OBSESSED. It's unhealthy how obsessed I am. I also am in love with Jim (John Krasinski). I don't care if he's already married and old... He will love me one day. That's all.

Yesterday was my sweet friend Hayden's 17th birthday. Leesa planed a scavenger hunt for him and the final destination was at a park up the canyon, where we surprised him with cake, balloons, games, and food. Despite the rain and not being able to get the fire started, we all had such a fun night! This is a picture of Bo, Hayden, and Me. I'm so happy to be friends with both of these cute boys!

My friends have recently introduced me to Dave Matthews Band, and I love them. I find myself listening to them more and more every day. Although I don't know every single song, I got a ticket for the concert and am stoked!

I went to girls camp...and Bri Ray proposed to me... so I guess you all can come to our wedding. Idk.

For the 4th of July weekend, four of my closest friends took a trip to Torrey with my family and I. We had fun watching the parade, going to the flea market, going to the dance, meeting cute boys, driving through Capitol Reef National Park, and experiencing some hardcore rain storms!

I love spending time with my cute niece Halle Jill. Here's a picture of us at the Torrey parade! She's the cutest girl I know!

Grandpa Fred was the Grand Marshall in the parade this year!

I made Tanner come to a birthday party with me this June, and we had fun holding chickens! This one was my favorite!

I was forced to go to camp this year, and I really don't think I would have survived without Renee. It was probably the worst week of summer so far. Yes, we do look happy in this picture... but that's only because we were leaving that day!

Alex and I try to go on an adventure every week or so, and we have the funnest time together. Some of our adventures have been: late night gas station runs, sitting outside of my house and talking at midnight, icee runs, spinning around in the streets, shaved ice runs, going on walks and venting to each other in the rain, laying on his couch and listening to him play guitar, going to my neighbors house and meeting exchange students, etc. He is easily one of the best friends I've ever had!

one time.... Sam, Brielle, and I thought we were cool... yolo.

definitely a random post

The Best Friend

Sorry for the overload of pictures, but this girl is my best friend and I don't know what I'd do without her. She's just like my sister and we are pretty much the same person. She's always there for me, and she puts up with all of my stupid drama. Thanks for being my best friend Naners!

Fashion.

This year I've had the opportunity to do some amazing things with the girls in my fashion class and the girls in the fashion club at my school.  I've had the chance to have small socials where we all just eat, talk, and design outfits together.  I've had movie nights where we watch confessions of a shopaholic and just hang out. I've had the opportunity to explore New York City for five days with these girls, and I've gotten to do a photoshoot with them as well. I'm sorry for the overload of pictures, but I've had the best year with these girls!

The not so typical Friday night....

Jake, Derrick, and I ended up having a confetti fight while decorating Renee's room so Matt could ask her to Prom.

Teo and I spent the day going on adventures, and I had the best time with him.

Matt and I picked Jake up from school:)

We made a trip to Savers and the boys tried on cute outfits.

We completely covered Renee's room in confetti! (sorry naners)

I'm Legal.

I'll be sixteen in 3 and a half months, and I finally got my learners permit. Honestly, I was positive I was going to fail.  I was just going to go take the test so I could see what areas I needed to study more, but ended up passing it on my first try! I honestly was so surprised. So everybody I am now legal... with an adult.

A night to remember

About two months ago, a couple of my cousins and friends and I bought tickets to the Passion Pit / Matt & Kim concert, not knowing that the venue we were going to was going to be so crazy.
Renee and Ashleigh got in line around 4:15 and saved our spot until Cory, Shauna, and I got there around 5:30.  Doors opened at 6:30, and as soon as we got in, we ran straight to the front. We were standing about 3 rows from the stage and everything was calm and normal... until people around us started pushing and shoving. We were so packed, we couldn't move. There would be times that your feet wouldn't be touching the floor, but there were so many people pushed up against you that you would stay above the ground....
anywho, it kept getting crazier and crazier, and we were ready to get out of this mosh pit that had started.. but there was no way out. Trying to push your way through was absolutely impossible, and it didn't help that the people around us were all at least six feet tall. Renee, Ashleigh, and I were all holding hands, but Cory and Shauna got separated from us.
Before the concert even started, little Ashleigh passed out and collapsed on us. We got people to help us get her to the front, and Security lifted over the rail, out of the pit. Renee, then went with her to help her and make sure she was okay, so I was left alone... in the middle of a mosh pit... scared to death.
About ten minutes after they got lifted out, I got hit in the face and my lip started bleeding everywhere.. And then I started to get really dizzy and I couldn't get air so I blacked out and stumbled on to the guy next to me. (I promise it wasn't as bad as it sounds).. They helped me get to the front, and one of the guys by me had to hold me up so I wouldn't fall (I probably should mention that he was highly attractive!)  Security then grabbed me and lifted me out of the pit, over the front rail as well.
By this time, Cory and Shauna had somehow managed to push their way to the back and they had no idea what was happening with Renee, Ashleigh, and I.
Finally, after Matt and Kim performed (a very crappy performance might I add), we all met up and moved to the back of the venue where it wasn't as crazy. We ended up rocking out, singing, and dancing our hearts out for the rest of the night!
I can easily say I will never forget this night. It was both good and bad, but overall I had a blast and was so happy to be there!

Here's a little story.

For months, I had been counting down the days.. impatiently waiting for February 22 to come around.  I could not have been more excited for this concert, or more importantly, to see two of my best friends. It had been months since I had seen them and that was way to long for me to handle. Not only was I excited, but as the days passed, I got more and more nervous. Like I mentioned, It had been about two months since I had seen these friends of mine, and for some reason I was so nervous to see them.. almost scared to see them, in fact.  I have no idea why, because this day, February 22, 2013, was one of the greatest, most fun nights of my life!
The day started out as usual... I went to school, but I was in a much happier mood than usual. People kept asking why I was smiling and why I was so happy... I was just so excited!  After school was over, I went home and tried to take a nap, but I was way too excited to sleep, so after about 20 minutes of faking it, I got up and got ready for the night, blasting Thrill Collective music as I did my hair and put on my makeup! At 7:00, Cory and Marie picked me up and we went to Mr. and Miss T at my school to support my friends... and from there, My mom picked Renee and I up, and we set off to Provo to see our friends perform! Yay!
As soon as we got there, I met up with those two best friends of mine and that's when the party started! woot! woot! We spent the night rocking out and dancing to all of the many bands! As soon as The Thrill Collective got on stage, we were pushed to the very front and had a blast dancing, cheering, and singing to all of their songs!  The best part of the night was when, in between songs, I hear "Where's miss Mckinli?" coming from my best friend on stage. They gave me a special thanks on stage, in front of the entire crowd, and Instantly my night was made!
Anywho, we hung out with the band for a little bit afterwards, and then stuck around for two other bands performing. By the time the night was over, I was so hyped up! I went home, and danced around my house all night and I couldn't stop singing their songs! It was definitely the funnest night I've had in a long, long time! Thanks guys!
